Perham, MN – Perham Health has announced the dates for its walk-in flu clinic at its three clinic locations:
New York Mills Clinic – Monday, Oct. 15 and Thursday, Oct. 18 | 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
Ottertail Clinic – Monday, Oct. 15 | 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
Perham Clinic – Monday, Oct. 15 through Friday, Oct. 19| 8 a.m. to noon and 1 to 5 p.m.
There is no need to make appointments for the flu clinics; simply walk-in and register.
The Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) recommends annual influenza vaccinations for everyone six months and older. Vaccinations are particularly important for people who are at high risk for serious flu-related complications including children younger than five, adults 65 years of age and older, pregnant women, and people who have medical conditions including asthma, heart disease, chronic lung disease, kidney and liver disorders, and weakened immune system due to disease or medication.
