Dr. Farkas received her medical degree from Semmelweis Medical School, Budapest, Hungary. She completed her fellowship in cardiovascular diseases and residency in internal medicine at Wayne State University, Detroit.
She is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. This means she has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed examinations that accredit her in these fields.
Dr. Farkas is a cardiologist, a specialist who diagnoses and treats diseases and malfunctions of the heart, lungs and blood vessels.
