Taylor Dowsley, MD




Dr. Dowsley received his undergraduate and graduae degrees from Queen's University, Ontario, Canada, and his medical degree from Rosalind Franklin University of Medicine and Science in North Chicago, Illinois. He completed his fellowship in cardiovascular diseases at University of Nebraska Medical Center in Omaha, Nebraska, and his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo Clinic & Graduate School, Rochester, MN.

Dr. Dowsley is board-certified in internal medicine and cardiovascular disease. This means he has fulfilled the necessary criteria established by the regulating board and has passed examinations that accredit him in these fields.

Dr. Dowsley is a cardiologist, a specialist who diagnoses and treats diseases and malfunctions of the heart, lungs and blood vessels. These may include irregular heartbeats, chest pain, heart attacks, heart disease and more.

I believe that in order to do the best job providing care to patients requires both striving for excellence in diagnosis and treatment but also equally important is a caring, compassionate interaction and good communication with patients. I feel that my greatest strength is relating well with patients and being patient with their concerns.

Taylor Dowsley is married with 2 children. His wife is a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner. He enjoys golf, hockey, swimming and cycling.
