Our emergency department is staffed 24 hours a day to make sure care is here whenever you need it. From insect bites and minor cuts to life threatening conditions, you’ll receive our immediate attention. Life Link is Perham Health’s connection to specialized providers at Sanford Health when complicated emergency situations arise. By video, we are able to have an extra provider in our emergency rooms for another set of experienced eyes helping us provide the best care possible in critical situations. This is especially helpful in the time between the patient enters our doors to the time they leave on Sanford AirMed.

When advanced emergency medicine is needed, Sanford Health’s AirMed, specialized rapid response team, is readily available to transport to its Level I Trauma Center in Fargo, N.D.

Doctors are on-call and experienced and qualified in providing emergency cardiac and trauma care. Nursing staff, trained in cardiac and trauma care, are always on duty. Along with the leading equipment, our emergency staff has the knowledge and abilities to give immediate and individualized care for the situation that arises.
