On-the-Job Training

We’re here to help propel you on your career journey. Whether you’re just starting out, have some experience, or already certified, you’ll receive ten days of guided orientation and on-the-job training.

Our team will walk alongside you, providing the tools and resources you need to be successful as a CNA.

OnTrack Nursing Assistant Program

The OnTrack Nursing Assistant Program combines the convenience of online training with interactive clinical experience. Through the program, you’ll receive 35 hours of online training, 24 hours of hands-on clinical training, and 16 hours of on-the-job experience.

Whether you’re just beginning your healthcare career or looking to make a change, becoming a nursing assistant is a rewarding career at any stage of life.

CNA Career Paths

As a CNA you have the option to work in the hospital or long-term care, but your journey doesn’t have to stop there. Curious where a CNA position could lead? As a current CNA or someone new to the position, there are many career paths available to you! Some common career journeys our employees have taken starting out as CNAs include:

  • Trained Medication Aide (TMA)

Scholarships

Looking to further your education in healthcare? We are here to help make your career visions a reality!

Our Long-Term Care Scholarship is available to employees pursuing education related to long-term care. Through this scholarship you have the opportunity of up to a maximum of $5,000 per semester or $10,000 per calendar year. Fields of study include social work, nursing (LPN and RN), physical therapy, occupational therapy, and more.

Perham Health also offers a scholarship opportunity to those in a continuing education program related to the healthcare field.
