Life Stations
Understanding the complexities of memory loss and cognitive decline, the team at Northwinds recognizes the significance of arranging meaningful and purposeful activities. These endeavors stimulate cognition, nurture emotional well-being, and foster a sense of accomplishment among residents.
The introduction of Life Stations marks a significant step in this journey. Supported by a grant from the Perham Health Foundation, Northwinds acquired four distinct stations designed to engage individuals in familiar activities. As facilitator of the grant, Cassandra Olson, RN Clinic Coordinator, the initiative embodies a commitment to reconnecting residents with their passions and hobbies.
