U.S. News & World Report, the global authority in health care rankings, listed Perham Living to its Best Nursing Homes for 2018-19.  The reporting agency evaluated more than 15,000 nursing homes nationwide. Perham Living is one of 2,975 nursing homes earning the designation of a U.S. News Best Nursing Home.

Since its inception in 2009, the U.S. News nursing home ratings have relied on data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS), the federal agency that sets and enforces standards for nursing homes. Perham Living’s rating of the quality of overall care, considering both long-term residents and short-stay patients in Transitions, is ‘High Performing.’

“We are extremely proud to be named to the list of top nursing homes in the country for the third year in a row,” said Tracy Hendrickx, Vice President of Long Term Care. “This recognition is a demonstration of the incredible care provided by our frontline staff each and every day. Their commitment to our residents and their families are the key to making Perham Living a great place to live and work.”

The U.S. News and World Report rating system is intended to provide consumers with comprehensive information about care, safety, health inspections, staffing and more to make informed decisions regarding this important life decision.
