COVID-19 Testing Essential to Controlling Spread

Testing for COVID-19 is an important step in controlling the pandemic. It should be noted that testing enables individuals who are positive for the coronavirus to isolate themselves. • At-home Testing – an at-home saliva testing kit is available through the Minnesota Department of Health at no charge for any person who believes they need to be tested. Order your test here, then simply ship your sample to the specified lab using a prepaid UPS package and get your result in 24 to 48 hours after your sample arrives.
• Pharmacies – select pharmacies around the area offer on-site testing as well as testing kits to do at home.

Finally, unless you are seriously ill, you should not go to an emergency department for COVID-19 testing.
