Perham Health’s most popular baby names are in for 2022. The top girls’ names were Claire, Everlie, and Nora. The top boys’ names were Oliver, Hudson, and Liam.
The OB staff is excited to share a few tidbits about the deliveries in 2022:
- Wednesday was the busiest delivery day this year versus Monday in 2021.
- While October saw the most babies born last year, May was clearly the winner for this year.
- 58% of babies were male.
- 23% percent of families resided in Perham at the delivery date, and a few long-distance families were from Fargo, North Dakota, Alaska, and California.
- Water births increased by 13%.
- Our providers, Dr. Kailey Witt and Tonya Diggins, Midwife, CNP, were tied for delivering the most babies, and a close runner-up was Dr. Jaimie Deraney, OB/GYN, with just two fewer deliveries.
Perham Health is proud to see a record number of births in our Family Birth Center in 2022. Mothers say they feel well-cared for and relaxed with birthing suites specifically designed for labor, delivery, and recovery. Suites also feature a whirlpool, a sleeper couch for family, and a mini-fridge.
We welcome you to a treasured birthing experience at Perham Health.
