For the summer of 2019, Perham Health has developed a new program for teens interested in gaining experience in the healthcare field while earning volunteer hours.

The Perham Health VolunTeen Program allows teens to work as an integral part of the healthcare team over the summer to help make a difference in the lives of patients, residents, families, and visitors, while gaining an opportunity to get an inside look of a career in healthcare.

VolunTeens will volunteer on both the Perham Health and Perham Living campuses. Tasks will include helping families and guests with way-finding, supporting staff with clerical tasks, helping with activities, visiting with patients and residents, and much more. Opportunities to volunteer are available Mondays through Thursdays. VolunTeens will be expected to commit to two, four-hour shifts a week between June 3, 2019, and August 2, 2019.

If you are between the ages of 16-18 years old by June 3, 2019, please consider applying for the Perham Health VolunTeen Program. Deadline to apply is April 30.
