As we look back on the year, our hearts are full of gratitude. At Perham Health, we are more than a healthcare organization—we are a community bound by compassion, service, and shared purpose. This season, we pause to honor the people who make our work possible and meaningful. These are the hearts behind the healing, the hands that lift others, and the souls who inspire our mission every day.

With Deep Thanks to our Volunteers

There are no words that fully capture the impact of our volunteers. They show up—not for recognition, not for reward—but simply to serve. Whether greeting visitors at the front door or piloting trishaws at Perham Living, their presence is a gift.

Our volunteers show up not because it’s their job, but because they care.  They give their time and energy with the same dedication as our employees, and our residents, patients, and staff know them just as well.  They serve without expectation of praise or reward—making a true difference in the lives of those we care for.” Tracy Brockpahler, Volunteer Coordinator, Perham Living

To our volunteers: you are the quiet heroes of our story. Thank you for giving your time, your kindness, and your hearts so freely.

With Gratitude to Elevate

The Elevate team is a beacon of hope and health in our region. Their tireless work to help all adults age well, educate our community, and build connections to resources and opportunities is nothing short of inspiring.

Elevate’s partnership with Perham Health and Perham Living is really something special. Together, we’re creating stronger connections to community resources, expanding access to health and wellness education, and redefining what healthcare can look like. This isn’t just a partnership- we are showing what the future of healthcare looks like for our communities.” Mindi Larson, Community Coordinator, Elevate

To Elevate: we are deeply thankful for your vision and your voice. Health isn’t just a service – it’s a shared journey.

With Appreciation for Our Area Businesses

Our local businesses are more than storefronts and services—they are the heartbeat of our community. Their support of Perham Health and Perham Living, and their commitment to wellness, remind us that healing happens not just in hospitals, but in every corner of our town.

Our business community is more than a network – it’s a generous, deeply connected group of neighbors who consistently show up for Perham Health, Perham Living, and countless other organizations. I’m truly grateful for these partners, colleagues, and friends who help make our community stronger every day.” Chuck Hofius, CEO, Perham Health

To every business that has stood beside us: thank you for believing in our mission and investing in the wellbeing of our neighbors.

With Respect and Thanks to Our Service Clubs and Churches

Faith communities and service clubs are the soul of every community. Their generosity, their outreach, and their unwavering support uplift not only those in need—but all of us. They remind us that compassion is a calling, and service is sacred.

One of my favorite quotes from Mother Teresa beautifully reflects the spirit of our community: ‘I can do things you cannot, you can do things I cannot; together, we can do great things.’ Our faith communities and service clubs live this truth every day—lifting others up through compassion, generosity, and shared purpose.” McKay Ness, Chaplain, Perham Living

To area churches and service clubs: we are honored to walk alongside you. Thank you for being the hands and feet of love in our community.

With Heartfelt Thanks to the Families of Our Employees

Behind every staff member is a family that sacrifices quietly. They miss dinners, celebrations, and holidays so their loved one can care for someone else’s. Their patience and understanding are the unseen strength behind our care.

The families of our team members are the true heroes of our mission. Their patience, sacrifice and support allow our employees to show up everyday for others. We are grateful for the love and support behind the care.” Terry Marthaler, Chair, Perham Health Board of Trustees

To the families who wait, support, and love through the long hours: thank you. Your grace makes our work possible.

Our Heart is Full

At Perham Health, gratitude isn’t just something we express—it’s something we live. It’s present in the quiet moments of care, in the shared smiles between neighbors, and in the unwavering support we receive from this incredible community.

To every volunteer, partner, business, service club, church, and family member: you are part of our story. You are the reason we can we can serve with heart, with hope, and with purpose.
